It would sure be nice if you had the actual game progressive rummy or rummy500 as an app.

Puchased app and so far I like it but I have a few suggestions based upon how we play. We play the game most days at lunch at work and have been doing so for 15+ years.

1. Show who is the dealer.
2. Show how many tricks remaining or the "not" bid to the dealer.
3. After the bidding show the number of tricks either over or under the bid.
4. Ability to add a player to a game in progress and to give them a score ( we use the lowest score).

Is there an iPad version in the works?

We always play with a rotating trump for each round. Sometimes in a pattern and sometimes random. There is usually a no-trump hand in the rotation. Did I miss something on the screen shots that would support trump?

Iphone 3GS using iOS 5.0.1 encountered a significant scoring bug upon download. Underbid scoring is not properly recognizing the variable "taken" as a penalty.

Formula: Penalty Bid + 0
Bid 4 Taken 6 = penalty 4 CORRECT

Formula: Penalty 0+5
Bid 4 Taken 6 = Penalty 5 CORRECT

Formula: Penalty Taken+0
Bid 4 Taken 6 = Penalty 0 INCORRECT!!!

Scoring rules page properly lists the penalty that should be given, actual scores do not reflect this.

I'm shocked that this has not been fixed by this version and hoping that it stems from the recent software update. Please fix this.

I am having problems with the scoring, just down loaded version 1.7. We play a very basic version starting at 1 - 10- 1, no penalties, bonuses, or extra points for taking extra cards beyond your bid. The scoring is not working for the single card hand it gives me an score o 22 for a correct bid of one this should be 11. Please help, maybe I am doing something wrong.

Thanks, Mike

oh hell.

a favorite of my mom and dad.
they are set in their ways.
1) 1 to max...max to 1 they play 1 to 8 and 8 to 1 two 8 card hands
2) indiicating the dealer is important.
3) they score zero bid 0 taken = as the number of cards in the hand plus 5
4) bid = taken as= number bid plus 10

I cant use the program as is but would love it if scoring was a little more flexible allowing my mom and dads scoring method. cant teach a dog new tricks...

Greetings! Just downloaded the app - good stuff, just not quite flexible enough for the version we play. We go 1-Max then Max w/ no trump then Max-1. For the 1-?Max and Max-1 we decide trump by the top card off the deck. Up here (South Dakota) the people I have played with call the game Dammit versus Oh Hell but it is definitely the same game. Your app captures the scoring (we do tricks + 10*BidMade) just not the *three* hands at max versus one. Not sure how to make things flexible enough for that, though...

Check the bottom of the Scoring screen to see if the option "Take everything get 2x points" is turned on. The would do the score doubling that you are seeing.
