Version 1.4 Submitted!

Posted by WonderWare on December 2, 2009 at 7:12 PM Comments comments (1)

New features for version 1.4

  • Option to force bids to make someone bust
When turned on, the total number of bids cannot equal the total available tricks

  • Option to award double points for taking all possible tricks
This can give extra incentive to bid high and pig out!

Bug fixed for 1.4

  • Changing a player name could cause Scorepad to crash.  Fixed.

  • Player statistics are supposed to be saved and recalled so you have a record of all the games you played.  There was a bug in how they were saved which forced them to reset at the start of every game.  This has been fixed so now you can track statistics for as long as you like!

Please keep sending in those e-mails and I'll do my best to keep ScorePad updated!

ScorePad 2 Name entry bug!

Posted by WonderWare on October 27, 2009 at 11:24 PM Comments comments (0)

Ever press the plus button on ScorePad 2 and have nothing happen?  DOH!

The workaround is very easy.  Just scroll down the list.  As soon as the new name control is visible the keyboard will pop up and everything will work again.

A fix for this bug has already been submitted to the app store.

Updates coming

I'm currently working on some updates to Progressive Rummy 2.  It turns out that I wasn't saving the sound settings as I thought.  There will also be a new "Previous" button to rescue you when you accidently move to the next round and need to go back.  I expect to be submitting the update to Apple shortly...

Just a few more things

I've just submitted my 1.2 update to Oh Hell ScorePad.  This adds some new scoring variations suggested by some players.  I think it is incredibly flexible now to handle just about any scoring people can think up!  On the more unusual side I've also added an "Indian Round" where you don't get to look at your own cards but instead hold it up to your forehead so everyone else can see it.  I'm not sure how popular this option will be but I did get a special request and I aim to please.  :)

The changes will be migrated into Oh Hell ScorePad 2 shortly.
